Question: What kind of math formulas can you come up with that would create the perfect offensive and defensive plays?
Look with all the math questions we see pop up in here, I think it would be fun to use math in hockey. Certainly there has to be math involved somehow in the game right? Hell, Physics has been used in the understanding of the game and that involves some deal of math.
I like Math as long as I know how to do the problems right!!!
Just make up anything Kate, even if you copy and paste from a book!!!
Answer: If p = pass and s = shoot and g = goal then
3p + s = g
then find x if v = save and c = check
2p + s - c = xv

Question: What type of intelligence do you identify with?
The psychologist Howard Gardner identified the following types of intelligence among children:
1) Linguistic: enjoys reading and writing; often very good at story-telling; good vocabulary and verbally creative.
2) Logical/mathematical: interested in math, patterns, categories and relationships; drawn to strategy games, experiments, and logical brain-teasers.
3) Bodily-kinesthetic: processes knowledge through bodily sensations; athletes, dancers or good at crafts such as sewing or woodworking.
4. Spatial: thinks in images and pictures; may be fascinated with mazes or jigsaw puzzles; spend free time drawing, building with Legos, or daydreaming.
