How to play the Jump Rope Math Game

First of all, the Jump Rope Math Game is a game for a small group of kids.

To begin playing the Jump Rope Math Game, divide the kids into two groups / teams.

Each team has one jump rope.

Each kid is given:

  • a piece of paper,
  • index card, or something else that has a number on it (72, 36, 9, 14 etc.)

The moderator yells out two numbers to multiply (such as 8 time 9).

How to win the Jumping Rope Math Game?

The first kid to say "I have it" (the one that has the card "72") wins.

How does this game promote physical exercise? and what does it have to do with a jump rope?

The winning kid can then name someone on the other team. The person whose name is called has to jump rope 10 times.

Hopefully, everyone will get a chance to jump rope at least once or twice. By combining physical exercise with math, kids generally find it more interesting and it keeps them alert and awake all the time.
