Question: Can a kindergarten teacher request a child be taken out of her class? I?
I was given a list 2 days ago. Reason he was sent to principals office and she wants him to go to a differnet class which the only other class is part time. The list states broke crayons, told a boy he had a girlfriend, Touched a girl on the head, did his work before instructed, told a girl he liked her and her body, flipped over his page during math game to see answers, reached over 3 kids to get milk at lunch... Please help me I really do not understand. I just went to speak to his teacher 2 weeks ago and said nothing negative except he does interrupt. But keep in mind nothing positive was given either. So the principal said there are going to be options and one is my son taken out of her class. What is going on?
Answer: See a school counselor to resolve the problem.

Question: Can anyone suggest math and spelling games for my 8 and 9 yr old?
Preferably, something inexpensive. Homemade is fine. We have tried flashcards for the math. Well, it isn't all of math, it is just counting money. There is a math game card game called 99 that is played with pennies also, but I do not remember how to play it.
I really do not want them growing up like most of the teenagers on here who can't spell and in some cases can't count. This no one left behind is apparently not working.
The game 99 is not the one where there are trumps and tricks. It is played using one pile and counting up or down depending on the card you put on. I think if you put a ten on the pile you have to count backwards and the king is an automatic 99. I forget what the pennies are for.
Answer: I always found that the easiest way to remember how to spell things is to have lines about them. Such as
I before E except after C
Dessert has two s's because you always want some more.
Hippo sat on a pot and made a mess (mus) Hippopotamus
A good math trick to help with the 9 multiplication table is to use both your hands, and starting from the left, put down the first finger, that is 9x1 =9 9 fingers will be left. Second finger down is 1 and 8 9x2 = 18 and so on.
You could also write out words with letters missing, for them to fill in. Make it a scavenger hunt. Whoever spells the words write and can read their clues the fastest finds the prize.
Just some ideas
