Question: What is a good maths activity that is good fun for 6-8 year olds ?
I am fdoing a maths day with some friends at school for 6-8 year olds and we have to make up a game or activity. We can use Paper, Dominoes, Cubes, Shapes Etc. Anything to do with maths really.
Answer: flash cards,
you get two teams
you hold up a card with like
2x3 on it and they have to call out the answer
the first person out of the pair to call it out gets the point for their team.
i played it when i was in grade prep and 1 and also in grade 2 and 3.
