Answer: Each die can have six possible outcomes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
You have five dice.
So the possibility of all outcomes is 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 x 6.
7,776 combinations.
Six possible outcomes (11111, 22222, 33333, etc.) divided by

Question: Are there any math buffs out there who can figure this out?
{Ai,j} = n*{Hi,j} + {Li,j}
It's got me puzzled - that's for sure. I found it at the bottom of a page in a puzzle game I play (usually word puzzles) and I think it is a clue.
I honestly have no clue what to look for in this. Unless it is A=This, J=This, L=That - I am horrible at math. I can never find that dang X.
Answer: I think this is a matrix computation.
A, H and L are matrices of the same size.
The (i,j) entry of A is obtained by getting the (i,j) entry of H, multiplied by n, then combined with the (i,j) entry of L .
