Question: Where can I find a free online math exercise game similar to Brain Age?
Part of Brain Age includes basic math exercises. I'd like to know if there is something similar online. The game has elementary operations like addition and multiplication, but I would prefer something that also has decimals and percentages. Is there something online that includes all of this?
Answer: http://www.mymaths.co.uk/ < got loads of maths stuff on there my school uses it

Answer: man its simple, if u take a number lets say abcd and then its inverse order which will be dcba.
now their difference = efgh (lets suppose)
so if u add up e+f+g+h what ever is the answer is divisible by 9
so if you omit one number => h in this case
the sum of these numbers will be e+f+g which will not be divided by 9. Add any number which makes it divisible by 9 and that number must be h.
e.g.
abcd = 9821
dcba = 1289
difference = efgh = 8532
(e+f+g+h = 8+5+3+2 = 18) (thats not part of the game, just to make your understanding clear that 18 is divisible by 9)
now suppose u omit 8
then 5+3+2 = 2+3+5 = 5+2+3 = 10 (jumbling it up doesnot matter as we have to take the sum of individual integers)
so 8 must be added to make it divisible by 9 i.e., 18 divisible by 9 so 8 is the omitted number.
Hope I cleared. If u still have any questions, feel free to contact me again.
