Question: I NEED DETAILED MATH HELP!!!!?
Ok so I have a problem below and its about this probobility shooting game. That you shoot a basket the first time, if you miss you get 0 points and dont go on, but if you make it you get 1 point and go on. If you shoot the next one you get 2 points and thats it, but if you miss you stay at 1. Oh ok so this guy has a 80% free throw average. So that means he at least makes 1 shot 80% of the time and 20% is miss. Now they change the game to having if you missed the first shot, you have a chance to get 1 again but nothing after that. Whats the porobility that the 80% hit guy will get 0 points, 1point, or 2 points
Answer: 20% chance that he will get 0 points
48% chance he will get 1 point
32% chance he will get 2 points

Question: Can you help me with math??? PLEASE!!?
I got this year in view worksheet to do. I got stuck with some problems because I forgot how to do them. Please help!
1) Of the 75 pitches the pitcher threw, 55 were for strikes and the rest balls. What percent of EACH were thrown?
2) The capacity of the box seats on the first base line is 45 fans. If there are 13 fans already seated for the game, write an INEQUALITY for the maximum fans who can sit in those box seats. Simplify.
3)What would be the slope of a line that is perpendicular to the line: y=17x=2.50?
4) Four uniforms tops (t) and three uniform bottoms (b) cost $125. 4t+3b=125. Six uniform tops and three uniform bottoms cost $165. 6t+3b=165. Write a system of equations. What is the cost of one uniform top? What is the cost of one uniform bottom?
THANKS(:
Answer: 1) Of the 75 pitches the pitcher threw, 55 were for strikes and the rest balls.
What percent of EACH were thrown?
Total = 75
Strikes = 55
No strikes = 20
% strike = 55*100/75 = 73.33 % .................... Answer
% NO strike = 20*100/75 = 26.66 % ................ Answer
2)What would be the slope of a line that is perpendicular
to the line: y = 17x - 2.50. ............................................ [1]
Slope, m = 17
Slope of the line perpendicular to [1],
m1 = -1/m = -1/17 ...................................... Answer
