Question : I need cd-rom for my computer to help my students
Question Details: I am a teacher and I am looking for some resource materials to help the learning capacity for my students. As a child I remember playing games at school like Oregon Trail or Wheel of Fortune to help in History or Spelling. The problem is that I teach Math and I am unaware of any games like that I could get to put on the computers in my classroom to differentiate instruction. If you know of any websites or cd-roms for windows I could purchase I would greatly appreciate it. What I am looking for are games that are good learning tools but are fun for the students as well.
Answer: I am not sure what ages you are teaching or if it is spec. ed. but here are some sites that might helpful. Also depending on funding you might check out something like PLATO and looking their math modules.
