Question: what to buy with 24 thousand dollars?

im in middoe school. in math we are doing this game where we get 24,000 dollars and we get to buy whatever we want with it. its awesome. then once we buy it we have add and subtarct the tax on it and everything like that. its so cool. anyway what should i buy. i already bought ipod touch, ipad, hollister clothes,a dog, a horse.

Answer: Hmmm, if you really want to impress your teacher with the taxes and such then purchase a municipal bond. lol. It is a structured loan to a city or county that they must pay back, but because it is a loan to the government you get special tax breaks. such as tax free payments. makes it interesting.

Otherwise, how about a pair of myvu glasses for the ipod touch.... www.myvu.com Those things are very nice!!!!

Question: Math geniuses, I need your help? Fun problem!?

Okay, so do you know the game chicken fight? In the pool 2 people sit on somebody's shoulders and try to pull one another into the water.

So my friend and I are going to be chicken partners tomorrow at a pool party and we'd like to try and look at this from a mathematical standpoint.

What would be the best angle for us to be at to pull/push somebody of their partner's shoulders and into the water?

I appreciate your help!

Answer: i don't think there is a math equation for this but i would push someone from behind lol
